Overview: DotWalker Pro is a travel assistant application primarily designed for blind and visually impaired users but it also enables eyes free control for for all who like it.
DotWalker provides navigation tools by handling a set of discrete points. Each point can be approached using several modes of control (selected point, nearest point, point on route). Talking compass is included. Routes can be created manually, on the move simply by shaking the device, or with the help of Google maps direction service. Map points can be obtained from OpenStreetMaps. Point of interest can be enhanced by audio record or linked to other media sources. Special approach mode directs you to the desired point by announcing direction and distance. On the point location can be supplemented by audio street view. Address announcement as an option.
Application is easy to use by 2 or 3 finger swipes that can be configued to launch desired function. Many functions can be launched using voice command,
