Overview: ALTitude is a Google Latitude updater designed to minimize the battery drain and replace Latitude.



Make sure to set your Latitude settings to "manual update" so that you can keep using Latitude to locate your friends on the map without having the energy overhead of Latitude.

ALTitude relies an OAuth2 for authentication against Google Latitude and does not store any username or password.

This license enabled following features:

• allows to start on boot (preferences)
• enables the configuration of the location providers for the Latitude updates and for the map
