Fuelio: gas log, costs, car management, GPS routes v7.7.7
Requirements: 4.2+
Overview: Fuelio is simple, easy to use android application to track your mileage, gas consumption and gas costs. Using this App you can track car expenses, auto service, your fill-ups, fuel consumption, car´s mileage, gas costs/gas prices and save money.

Image

See the overview of mileage, gas costs for one or more vehicles. Supports different fuel types and now also bi-fuel vehicles. Can visualize your fill-ups on Google map.

Gas prices - crowdsourcing
The app will also show you fuel prices and nearest gas stations.

Fuelio: Gas log & costs is using full tank algorithm to calculate fuel consumption. Thanks to this, the app can calculate how many litres/gallons of fuel you have used between fill-ups. When you buy fuel just enter the amount you purchased and your current odometer value. Fill-up will calculate your fuel economy/efficiency, maintain a log of your purchases, and display plots and statistics for your data.
The app provides statistics as total and average number of fill-ups, fuel costs and mileage in a nice-looking, easy to use interface and in visual charts.

Fuelio app stores your data locally but any time you want, you can connect it to the cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive) and make sure you won’t loose your data even after loosing or crashing your device.

Trip Log - GPS tracker
You can manually or automatically track your trips (with GPS).
Register your trip and see its real cost with some summary and map preview. You can also save your routes to GPX format.

I think what he means is that this is a untouched app and there have been no changes done to it so you can get it from the playstore?

So there's no "special treatment" from @Balatan (or @Nocna Furia)?
And so there's no need to get it from here rather than the play store? There are no changes between them?

I was under the impression that the versions from the uploaders here had the pro (or whatever premium) features unlocked.

What about apk signature and stuff?
Updating the version from here with the version from the play store should work OK?

Thanks again.

I literally wrote sort of long reply for you but it seems like i something bugged out...

Anyway,
For this app no and i dont think it needs it since everything is offered for free, right?
You can get it from wherever you want, theres no difference for this release.
Also Balatan is a modder and Nocna Furia is a releaser.

Most of the time they are but sometimes they upload untouched stuff for $$

Should be the same as the playstore car and it should be fine to do that. You gotta be careful getting untouched files from other resources though you may never know if its been tampered or modified.

OK, you have been very helpful indeed.

Regarding the fuelio app, I was almost certain that it used to have a separate paid version, or IAP to unlock the full feature-list, at least in the past.
Maybe they (Sygic) changed their mind?

And if it's not too much to ask, I would really like some info / your input:

1. What's the difference between a modder and a releaser?
2. What resources are considered (relatively) safe?
Is mobilism one of them?
3. What about the releases/mods of Balatan and Nocna Furia? Are these safe?
How to be sure, besides virustotal or hybrid-analysis?
4. What resources should we avoid?
If I am not mistaken, occasionally releases from here (identical apks) end up elsewhere as well (such as a2zapk, for instance).

Thanks again (and again...).

This is what it says in the overview,

NOW PRO FEATURES ARE FREE (no ads!):

So that looks to be true

And if it's not too much to ask, I would really like some info / your input:

1. What's the difference between a modder and a releaser?

Although everyone here is called a Releaser there are differences, to simplify Modders literally mod files and releasers release or post pre modified files which are modded by various modders on different sites.

2. What resources are considered (relatively) safe?
Is mobilism one of them?

I personally believe mobilism is safe but you can never be 100% sure if a file is safe or not because mobilism allows anyone to post releases or mods and you can never say when a trusted individual goes rogue but mobilism does remove topics if they are found to be dangerous i would say you should always trust your instincts as for resources there are a lot of forums reposting stuff one such resource is 4PDA most of the stuff posted here comes from there but you need to know russian to use it and usually every major modder has his/her own website where they post their releases so if you fancy the mods of a particular modder you could go there to make sure your getting their own modded files which have not been fiddled with by a third party

3. What about the releases/mods of Balatan and Nocna Furia? Are these safe?
How to be sure, besides virustotal or hybrid-analysis?

Like stated above you can never be sure but that's the cost that comes with getting software for free, and if something like in real life seems too good to be true it probably is. They are both trusted but i would be vary of anything posted by releasers as they post mods from a lot of resources and modders and you can never be sure if a file is dangerous. You should trust the results of those sites but there are always false positives because of the use of debug keys and mod protecting or obfuscation.

4. What resources should we avoid?
If I am not mistaken, occasionally releases from here (identical apks) end up elsewhere as well (such as a2zapk, for instance).

You should avoid anything unknown imo stick to known resources and yeah there are a lot of those type of sites but you can never be sure because they could alway lightly modify the files for their gain, sometimes these sites tend to have a copy of the files already posted on here but expired so you would have to make a choice to either trust their word or turst your guts

I hope this helps out i probably missed a lot of stuff and my excuse for that is im still learning and also sleepy [this is important] and if your ever curious about the safety of a file dont forget to make a comment
