Overview: BimmerCode allows you to code your BMW or Mini F and G series car to unlock hidden features and customize your car to your liking.



BimmerCode allows you to code the control units in your BMW or Mini to unlock hidden features and customize your car to your liking.

Activate the digital speed display in the instrument cluster or allow your passengers to watch videos while driving in the iDrive system. Do you want to disable the Auto Start/Stop function or the Active Sound Design? You will be able to code this and much more by yourself with the BimmerCode app.

Worked for few days. Installed it today on new S23 Ultra, and its saying "coding data update failed".

Either theres a new update out again or the developer has blocked the app altogether from the server.

Anyone else getting this error? Thanks

What is the solution to get it working then?

Have tried installing on 2 different devices, same problem for both "coding data update failed".

Seems like it is the latest version currently but either mod has stopped working or developer has blocked access to sever.

Try deleting this version. Go to playstore and download official version. Update coding data and close app. Go to app settings and force close app and inactivate app. Now try to update over the official app with this one.

Report back if this works.

What did you mean by inactivate app?

I tried installing Bimmercode from Playstore, updated coding data, then closed app, and force closed it from the App Manager. Then when trying to install this one over it, it says "App not installed as package conflicts with an existing package"

Also tried, installing Bimmercode from Playstore, updated coding data, closed app, then from App manager, force closed app and uninstalled it. Then installed this one straight after. It told me to update coding data. When attempting to do that, same error came, "coding data update failed"

So either way it doesnt work. Unless theres another way to get it worked.

2.1. We install the official application from the Play Market, launch it, download the necessary files, close it.
2.2. Copy the folder /data/data/de.appomotive.bimmercode somewhere
2.3. Uninstall the previously installed office. bimmercode app
2.4. Install the attached APK
2.5. We restore the previously copied folder /data/data/de.appomotive.bimmercode with a replacement in its rightful place

Method 2:
2.1. We install the official application from the Play Market, launch it, download the necessary files, close it.
2.2. Copy the folder /data/data/de.appomotive.bimmercode somewhere
2.3. Uninstall the previously installed office. bimmercode app

1. You need a rooted mobile to see the folder /data/data/de.appomotive.bimmercode
2. You need an app like "Root Explorer" to beable to view internal/root folders/files
