umm maybe because he was one individual taxi driver on an rampage against life and not another country or religion, the moron even shot his twin brother. His religion was never even mentioned, but good job on assuming the white dude was a christian I guess lol. Now if it was a bunch of Catholic priests who went and blew up a few innocent people over in Afghanistan because they had a grudge against that country or there religion, then I would be all for removing there Catholic bible application they posted a day before the memorial of there horrible act.
But its cool, leave the app up. Ill just be sure to post my "Taxi Drivers Quran" app up a day before the memorial of the Cumbria shootings.
Maybe you should take a lesson from Imam Musri and understand why it is a insult to post it a day before the memorial of 9/11, just like Imam Musri agreed it would be wrong to build a mosque a block from ground zero. I have nothing against the Quran nor Muslims, but a day before 9/11 is not the time for someone to be boosting it.
You're generalizing one Muslim psychopath's actions representative of a whole religion which is quite fatuous. If you find this app being released as "offensive," then the media's just brain-washed you. If you want to judge a religion, you judge it off its book, not of its people. A Bible, Torah, or whichever religious book can be posted whenever, wherever, and however; thinking otherwise because of a certain event or clash in the past would be foolish.
We don't need your compensation of it's cool, leave the app up" as it's not really up to you. I'd love to see your evidence of Imam Musri disagreeing with this. Just because he disagrees with the Ground Zero Mosque, doesn't mean he'll disagree with this. Honestly, I can't even see a correlation between the two.
Lastly, I guarantee you, if some non-Muslim were to commit some sort of "terrorist" attack, the media would
NOT be all over it (especially Fox). People will move on the next day as if nothing happened.
Nothing against you, just arguing your points as a lot of them seem to come from being misinformed.
Edit: Dang Tarek, you beat me to it, but I'm glad we have similar points.
