This is not a service where you are paying to get patched apps. It's a request section which is fulfilled by users among us. There's no timeline to this and it's not necessary that it's going to be fulfilled at all. Just wait and if someone is able to they'll fulfill it.

I'm getting the same. On virustotal.com, Avast reports this as "Android:Evo-gen [Trj]". Can this be resolved?

It hasn't appeared in any of the previous versions; what's changed then? The description of the trojan is pretty scary.

How would I know what's changed in their definitions? They are way too sensitive even for a change in signatures. I tested the same app with no obfuscation and Avast is still showing the same detection so unless I somehow magically sign it with the developer's certificate, I don't think it can be avoided.

This is original apk just signed with my cert, compare with original and scan on virustotal for satisfaction.

Thanks. As soon as I downloaded "the original apk" from your link my Windows PC recognized it as a virus/trojan. As much as I love this app, I'll stick with the previous version until this is sorted out.
