Requirements: Mobile Phone in working condition with charged battery using Android
Overview: Both a screen ruler and a camera ruler. Both metrics and imperial unit. Measure both distance and the object size. Just aim and measure.

Tried this on my Samsung Captivate, but the distance measurements were woefully inaccurate. I was standing less than 3 yards from my object, and it estimated my distance at nearly 12 yards.
