The app installed on my optimus s cm7 (which is a 1st, never been able to get flash to install, but still no flash in browser. Doing a reboot to see if it takes. After reboot still nothing. :( Sucks but I just don't think flash is possible on an ARM6 device. Everything I read says it is not. Guess I'll keep using my Skyfire for that.

here is what I did:
-put the libraries *.so in /system/lib (you can delete the honeycomb one)
-delete lib directory in apk
-push apk in /system/app (replacing the original one)

And it works: videos ok in youtube, flying penguin game working.

:-)

This works only for rooted devices, right?

@ NightmareMan:
So non-rooted devices won't ever get flash player installed, right? Shouldn't "requirements" be updated to "for rooted devices"?

edit: Didn't work on rooted LG P500 stock 2.3.3 rom. I used samba7's method too without result.
