Overview: PortraitWorks™ makes it easy to create great custom portraits for your D&D and other fantasy characters.
Players: Easily create a totally unique portrait that matches your character’s race, class, weapons, armor, gear, and much more.
GMs: Thousands of pre-made character portraits at your fingertips, including a wide range of NPCs, all of which can be easily customized.
Each portrait can be customized with:
• Millions of unique faces combining individual features and hairstyles, representing different
races, ethnic groups, ages, and genders (including non-binary)
• Outfits put together from multiple layers of clothing and/or armor
• Gear and weapons appropriate for a wide range of character classes and professions
• Hair, skin, outfit, and nearly all items can be individually colored
• All the classes from the Player’s Handbook and more.
• High quality artwork - all the art in this DnD portrait maker was hand-drawn by our team of professional artists.
You can make an unlimited number of customized portraits for free, of humans, elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes and other common races. Paid expansions unlock additional races and add many more choices for outfits, armor, weapons, gear, familiars, backgrounds, frames, high-definition output, and more. (Many of the portraits shown here take advantage of expansion artwork.)

1.2.1 addresses several issues, including a startup crash affecting a small number of devices, and a potential flicker during color adjustment. Increases the number of thumbnails visible at once on tablets.
