Of course, just use: http://89.32.131.24/downloader/premium.php . Its the most basic and in my opinion the best method and will work anywhere where there is a browser.

I'm trying to access the download link created by the premium downloader, as every time I enter a file into a box, the link appears for perhaps 2 seconds, then vanishes and I end up with a video screen and play button, where I would like to download the file. I have to press Esc at exactly the right second the freeze the page, to be able to get the link. I then press right-click and choose save link as...

Are you trying to download a video file? I think you have your browser/operating system is set to stream video files. So rather than downloading it, it tries to start streaming it as soon as part of the file gets saved. This is not a problem on our end but your file association settings that you can change.
