This app is really well guarded. It uses a few obfuscated asset files that are transformed into dex files that include custom and complex obfuscation/de-obfuscation and encryption/decryption algorithms that are used on a third obfuscated file which contains the critical code for adding widgets as well as the license checking code which produces the nag. All of this is executed during run-time to include deleting the dex files to cover its tracks.

This sounds like it could be using DexGuard alright.
