Download latest luckypatcher and use remove license.
Works with latest NHL 4.1008 version. Livestream works, live radio needs account login and just use facebook login.

Details, please?

This didn't work for me - still asked for Rogers login.

I tried my fix - I had live video for about 10 minutes on the old app, but then it began to loop.

Can you describe your fix? Also, on what version of the app?

Cool, I just downloaded it and ran the Patch against it, after choosing NHL GC Live - LuckyPatcher asked me if I wanted it to try in-app purchase hack on the app, I hit yes and it may have worked. I'll try tonight when there's a game going on to stream. I'll report back if it works or not. Thanks for the tip.

There are afternoon games today to test. 1pm and 3pm games.

I tried , but I am nagged by the rogers login screen, which I think is only present on the canadian release of the NHL app. Maybe someone in the USA can confirm that they don't have a "rogers sign in" option when using the 4.1008 version.

I will wait until game time to try more tests because for now its kinda futile, but I couldn't get rid of the rogers log in screen.

Maybe that someone could also post the USA NHL app if it doesn't have an extra rogers login screen.

I think that Verizon/Rogers may load depending on your geolocation and/or IP info. One could test it. Got the Rogers login screen here.

That seems to be the case. I am in canada, and I ran the app through a US proxy after a fresh install and Luckypatcher, it doesn't say "powered by Rogers" when I start it anymore

Did Luckypatcher accomplish anything worthwhile for ya?

Interesting posts behind the author of the latest VLC fix:

Throw_away_29229 wrote:My point is they're going to switch to some real authentication. Not some weird cookie shit that doesn't do anything. The reason they haven't rolled a patch out already is due to the PS4. In order to roll a patch out on the PS4 it requires submitting your app to Sony for verification, which takes months. The system we're using to get free games is relying on what the PS4 does. Once the season is over they'll patch the hole, as there are no games and get a new PS4 app out before the start of next season. Their new system will more than likely have some sort of real authentication, something like netflix/hulu etc, where if we were to find a hole in we would just fucking sell it for 30k not give everyone free hockey.

My point is Im not optimistic for next year. Once october rolls around we'll re-evaluate whats going on, but I expect to purchase GCL.

We'll after using Luckypatcher I am able to view the 2 currently active games... as well as listen to them!

I have to go to the Listen screen first, then press "Watch Now" on the bottom and home & away streams both work!

It worked on Avalanche vs Bruins on NESN and Ducks vs Sabres on MSG-B.... For what it's worth I'm located in NJ (Comcast is my provider for Internet/TV), but I'm sure Location Spoofer will work for any blackout restrictions, it usually does.

I can grab the APK off my phone and upload it as well. This is the newest version BTW patched with Lucky Patcher (Remove license option)

Yeah, uploading the patched APK would be useful. Luckypatcher's latest version didn't do anything useful for me either, after trying a bunch of options.

I've never shared a patched application before, but I assume it's the APK located within /data/app?

If so, there was com.nhl.gc1112.free-1.apk and com.nhl.gc1112.free-1.odex, I zipped up both files into NHL.zip which you can grab from here: http://multiupload.biz/ra_r06cjuh5f5wg (RapidGator and NOSUpload have the complete file) . If that's not right or you need something else, let me know. I know my way around a linux file system, just have never done anything like this on Android before.

I also have LuckyPatcher and TitaniumBackup installed if there's a better way to get the app for you from one of those.
