TheUndertaker the staff members have nothing to do with outdated versions or the dead links! Depends on the uploaders and if they are in position to provide the new versions because as you know this requires money and time especially for the patched versions. We have this 'rule': You are also required to have a copy of the file(s) from your release so that if the file(s) you uploaded expire/get deleted you are able to reupload them.
But we can't force anyone here to post any version. We have the request version for this reason and the user's comments in topics. The site as all the similar forums is based on 'sharing files'. If you want a new version of an app,game or you need new links, you can add your comment in the topic or send a pm to the uploader. If you want a particular app or game use the requests section.

I understand the update parts but dead links should not be showing up the section
or have some mods move dead links
I used to be a mod too. if mods don't do anything what's the point of having them

So you suggest to check more than 500.000+ topics (only for the Android section) for dead links and remove them..?
This is practically IMPOSSIBLE @TheUndertaker.
And there is no way that the system will hide the dead links checking automatically millions of links...!
I don't know where you was a Mod but I have not seen anywhere in any Mobilism like forum this action, mods remove the dead links..
Maybe on a limited traffic site.
The Mods are here to categorize topics, check files, clear spam, check comments, remove double posts etc.
We want an active forum, interactive topics with comments not just leechers, like torrents sites.
The users are free to add a comment requesting new links or send a pm to the original uploader.
