Dont know about Amazon version, but 28 April i have gotten this update in Google Play, in new version developers added controllers support. This is new version anyway.

Why I am getting verification error? I am using modded Google Play also.

For example, unworking releases? I have bought this game and can't check, how it works on other accounts (i mean license Google Play). But this time i take my friend's device. Install this apk with old obb, turned off internet, and game started proper. Let users try that.

Well if you can't patch it yourself, you need to add in the requirements that it needs modded Play Store.
