Overview: Move to the West Coast and immerse yourself in L.A. gang life with the new Gangstar. Explore more realistic environments than ever for a unique gameplay experience. Complete 50 different missions that combine the best of action games and driving games.
A unique feeling of freedom: Drive for miles and miles in massive, open-ended environments. Feel free to complete missions at your own pace, or just do absolutely anything you want!
The first mobile game that displays such a high level of graphics: a full-3D reconstruction of an entire city with detailed buildings, beautiful landscapes and impressive cars that animate and take crash damage.
Get rich or die trying! Explore the city, shoot and fight, steal vehicles, kill your enemies, and drive or walk anywhere. Go from rags to riches by connecting with relatives and helping out their gang, but beware of the police!
Intuitive gameplay: Drive a variety of vehicles easily thanks to touch controls, and aim at a target simply by touching it on the screen. Shooting sequences are even more enjoyable thanks to the auto-aiming system.
Be a gangster your way. Choose your favorite radio station: hip-hop, rap, reggae, electro, Californian punk rock, etc.
How it works: Using the directional pad in the left lower corner you run around, a button on the lower right corner can serve as your punching button or if you switch to a weapon it will also control that action.
Walk up to a car and another button appears, pressing it steals the car and then you are off, you then have two more options, the directional pad is replaced by the reverse button and in the right corner the gas button is placed. You steer with the accelerometer in the android device
Opinion: This is probably my favorite of all the gameloft games I have played, really fun. Its very similar to grand theft auto. Its better than the GTA games on play station one and is pretty comparable to Grand Theft Auto China Town Wars on the Nintendo DS. Its fun, it really is, it controls well, its in 3D. The graphics aren’t what they are on DS, but its a different platform with different controls, plus its designed different, either way this game is fun!
TEST : Motorola Milestone, Acer Liquid, HTC Desire – perfect, HTC LEGEND some problem . No test on Samsung Spica, HTC Hero.
