Some replys about how to install more Gameloft games ( like a Dungeon Hunter, Aspahalt 5 v3.1.3 etc.)


1. If it's shown "This is not an original" please uninstall the game and install again, then disable the wifi before runing the game. And also delete the folder Dungeon Hunter in /sdcard/gameloft/

2.Put the phone in airplane mode, disabled wifi, installed the game, run it, used the Wifi option to download the data files.

3.Turn your device into Airplane Mode and install the game.
Start the game , when asked for internet connection, choose Wi-fi.
Lets the game turn on Wi-Fi for you and wait for complete download.

Another install Notes:
1. Download app to phone or copy the app to phone's SD card.
2. Put phone in Airplane mode.
3. Run the game APK file on the phone, to locate download Astro File Manager and browse through to find the folder to copied the game APK file too.
4. Click on it and begin the install.
5. When it ask's you to enable WiFi to download the remaining game files, do so and it will download the files to a folder called "gameloft" on your SD card.

Also found a trick on how to download the data files from Gameloft....install the game in Airplane mode (make sure WiFi is off as well). When you run the game, it tell you it needs to update the data and ask you if you want to use WiFi or 3G, choose WiFi. It will automatically turn your WiFi on and download the needed data. Did this for Asphalt 5, Assasin's Creed and Dungeon Hunter on HTC Incredible.

However, afterwards the game may ask you to turn on your internet connection so that you can be registered.

Some guy found a way to make Nova work. Maybe it will help with other gameloft games.
He said that you have to go to "rm /data/data/com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftNOHP/armdkf.bin" and delete that .bin file.
However, there is no folder by the name of "com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftNOHP" in that data folder.

Works Great on Droid X

Above method also fixed my copy of Nova (grabbed from other thread). Just don't close the app when you go flip airplane mode off to download content. Once content was downloaded game fired right up. exited and works fine every time now even with connections on.

So to recap. Nova was gving me the "not an original copy blah blah"

uninstalled app and deleted sd content
re copied back over fresh sd content
enable airplane mode
installed app using astro to nav to apk on sd
launched game and it said shut of airplane to download.
didn't exit but just switched over to my settings and disabled airplane.
switched back to game and said retry
it asked me what connection type to download, i chose 3G cuz no open wifi @ work
waited a million years to download 66mb
completed and launched game
worked!

exited & relaunched
worked!

I followed the instructions above for HAWX and it didn't ask me to download any content it just worked.

my lucky day i guess... I hope this helps someone else and Thanks for the games

Just an question because i don't get it is that version older then 3.2.0? i am totally confused by there naming.
Because 3.2.0 doesn't work on the Galaxy S correct only with button control.

why is it that the winmo6 ver of the game is a top down arcade shooter while the os and android are afterburner type shooters? anyway, the controls are difficult, at least for me it was trying to manipulate the plane by jerking my phone up down left right...too much effort on my part to enjoy.

I'm trying to play this but every time I get to the title screen it closes. Any ideas?

i'm not sure about the one in the link I posted, but it worked for me on my galaxy s.
