i get the same thing! the "Application not installed" msg that goes along with "Angry Birds could not be installed on this phone."

Nah. The ads are pretty unintrusive, and only comes up for a few seconds. If you don't want ads, use AdFree. Personally, I am okay in supporting the developer for a great game.
I will support them with buying the ad remover Angry Birds. It will come. But it's annoying to se ads.
