first of all u should respect me
i am new on android but it seems now games are working depending on the processor type
not all games working on android 2 which means games which will be designed for android 3 will not work on older versions so we need to buy new mobiles cause not all old mobiles will be updated ,, am i wrong?whether yes or not try to be more respectable

First off, respect is not just given out, its earned. Your post was nothing more than a childish rant. Your complaining that a hacked game didn't work on ur device, do u see how stupid u sound right now? Either get a better or powerful phone that this game supports or shut up. Simple.

I think the point is it's too bad that Android has become so fragmented. Sure the Tegra 2 is a nice chip but the one in the SGS is very close to it in terms of FPS. So there is no reason to think that a game that works on a Tegra won't work on the hummingbird. As a matter of fact, both chips can render the same amount of triangles/second.

you and other people needs to stop being stupid...
rendering the same amount of triangles / sec on both GPu's doesn't mean the game will run.
not being able to install newer version of Android on older phones doesn't mean support is dropped.

The thing is the Tegra 2 chip has advanced set of instructions that are different from the other GPU's which means the games parameters, instruction sets on hardware logic etc. will not be compatible with older chips, therefore the older GPU's won't understand the commands that the new game/app/whatever is giving to them, so they will shit themselves and tell you to go buy a better phone.

Many of you obviously have no clue about programming/technology and you're just complaining when a game that you're stealing isn't working for you, then you're all blaming google/samsung/nvidia etc.
Blame yourself for being stupid.

PS: since were on it, why don't you complain that Crysis 2 doesn't work on your 8086 PC? ...

also, since most of you are so freakin' awesome in comparing Tegra 2 with SGX540
Sgx540: A8 architecture with the ARMv7 instruction set
Tegra 2: dual A9 architecture with the ARMv7 instruction set

So Tegra 2 advantages:
- the transistor density is higher on the Tegra 2 chip than the SGX540 chip
- the ULV (ultra low voltage) gpu uses less power, but it's faster
- uses 8 GPU cores (4 for shaders, 4 for pixels)
- can compute advanced shaders in realtime (advanced effects that no other GPU can compute on the market right now)
this is why Tegra 2 games can't be run on other devices.
they look better than iOS games, you might think they would run on older phones, but they simply can't, because the older phones cannot reproduce the graphics.

again though, enough arguying, more talking about the game :) like how you can't access the shop and combo menu ... maybe the 3 new versions since this release fixed it??

Yeah.. I'm at a point where I think without new combos I can't beat. An update would be nice.

Wow did you get that from a brochure? Now go check actual real life performance for a reality check where the SGX540 beats it in some games and gets beaten in other but always the difference is at best 10fps for the Tegra...wow HUGE difference....NOT ! so stop the BS...Tegra 2 is good but not good enough to deserve games just for Tegra...show me one game on Tegra that a Galaxy S cannot do...please
I guess the brain washing machine is more effective than I thought

you just simply cannot understand that Tegra 2 games are written completely different and the SGX cannot reproduce it.
the same effects can be made with the SGX with different code, but it will cost you lag.
how hard is it to understand?

Let's put it this way, since you're ... I don't want to say how you are:

Play Mafia 2 on your PC WITH physx settings turned on, and without a Physx card.
(yes you will see some cool effects, but not all, and your game will lag)

Now, put in a Physx card (or one of the new cards that have physx integrated) and play it again.
WOW... you just have insane effects and runs smooth as jelly on my ass.

Do you understand the difference between these things?
It's all about acquiring AT LEAST the same (in most cases better) results with a lot more optimized code, smoother game experience, less power usage.
So yeah... SGX is nice... in your dreams maybe.

I can give you an example after playing Samurai 2 for 1 hour it drain only 7-8% battery.
After playing any other non tegra2 game, my battery gets drained 15-20% easily in 1 hour.

geez, how complicated is this

take an XBOX360 game, put the DVD in your PS3.

end of conversation.

Yeah a few of us are reporting the same. Thinking we need an updated version maybe.

10fps, lol, you're pretty funny. Go run FPS2d and tell me your frames/second. The SGS can't break 70fps and what does the Tegra get 120.
