Player (1 and 2, Marco Tarma) should always shoot a continuous stream of enemies to get to the end of the level. At the end of each level, the player is faced with a boss, which is often much higher than normal enemies, and take many shots to kill. On the way through the level, the player finds weapons upgrades and "Metal Slug" tank, known as SV-001 (Super Vehicle), which can be used not only as a weapon, but also as an additional protection
