I get "invalid download" when I tried to run the first time and then it doesn't run after that.
No FC message - it just straight out refuses to run.

The 'invalid download' message suggests to me that it cant find the SD data - or the SD data doesn't match the apk... probably cant find the data.

I followed the above instructions and and have tried re-booting - same thing.

Galaxy Note - Stock ICS 4.0.4

SDcard is the internal memory (Galaxy Note), not your microSD.
