Historically I've always included the original APK file along with the cracked APK file. They are both clearly labelled and the instructions indicates what to do. You don't need to do anything with "Pinball Arcade v1.9.1.apk". It is there purely for educational purposes.

Re-download the 7z package and try again. I haven't heard of this issue with anyone else thus far.

Hold the tablet in portrait orientation as the game is loading, and it should default to portrait mode when you select a table to play.
Another option that worked for me (also on v1.9.0) was to enable screen rotation within the tablet's/phone's settings or via the pull-down menu.

Question to the OP: Any idea why Medieval Madness table file is around 14.5MB and previous version from 1.8 was approx 39MB? I downloaded it from their servers again just to make sure it was accurate and I got the same file. So obviously they changed something on their end, but, I just wondered if you had any idea what that might be?
Actually, I think I can answer my own question, lol. I believe they were using audio samples instead of playing the audio directly from the MM rom. I guess they managed to fix it so now it plays the audio directly from the rom file, the way god intended, LOL. So after chopping out all the additional audio, the file size is much lower. Oh yeah, I love answering myself, I wish I had revelations like this more often, heh.
Weird how they changed the whole menu setup for this new version. Although probably not a bad idea as the old one wasn't particularly good. Although as noted above, it is odd that you can't navigate the menu in portrait mode. Then add onto this the fact that you must be in portrait orientation when you launch the table to play it that way and it is easy to see why people are having problems. They need to add a menu which works in portrait OR they need to fix whatever issue prevents screen rotation while playing an actual table. I think they disabled it once the table is loaded because it causes/caused performance issues.
NOTE: Zen Pinball was just updated and is no longer exclusive to Tegra 3 devices only. In addition it now has a 'standard' or 'enhanced' mode for graphics which allows play on some of the older devices. Personally I prefer to play with standard gfx on my Tegra 3 phone as a higher FPS is preferable to some fancy lighting/reflections. All the tables are on sale for .99 cents for a week. Zen Pinball 2 has apparently never been 'fixed' to work without buying the IAP's. If you're interested now is a good time to check it out. I bought the 6 tables I still needed this morning. All that being said, I personally feel that Pinball Arcade is a better game, but, not by much.
