Yes. When you first sign in it might say error, but just go back to the friends section of the game, and it works.

as per my personal experience
w/ the official Facebook app installed i can log-in w/ Facebook but can't share my score and progress.
results in error when I try to share.
What i did was i uninstalled the official Facebook app and now I can share my score.
