LOL - I still have a v1.66 version of doodle jump that was released by real arcade. It was the last version before they started bloating the game. It has everything that DJ has like background themes, jumping, etc., at 1.71 mb (!), compared to the 38.5 mb (!) of this release. Tisk.

It is amazing how this game has grown,/bloated over the years. The play is essentially never changed since the version I have. There was a period when DJ was a complete disaster of excessive permissions and almost a virus. I do not about this latest installment. I do see that lima is now publishing it, that is a good sign, they are the original publishers of it.
