Thanks

there are too many things you can do, but here is a step-by-step tutorial to create a blocklist and stop someone from bothering you:

Create a new watch script by navigating to Tools>Watch
In the Watch for field choose Phone
Change Event title to ###RING
Specify a contact in the Caller ID(s) field
Type :SKSCHM in the Execute command line
and set the Parameters to #r(#hangup) #p() #onlyrun

Now navigate to Tools>Settings and turn the watch mode on.

just a simple but useful trick yet without writing even one line of script code.
Now you can use a similar code in scripts and block all incoming calls in a certain period of time or when the profile is set to mute or something else.

Thanks infernal. At last someone trying to help with scripts..
Can you tell me the script for starting a specific application on ppc when I receive a phone call from a SPECIFIC number only?

similar to the previous tutorial, create a watch for Phone with ###RING as Event Title. then specify a phone number or caller id. now easily put the executable file of the application you would like to run in the Execute filed. for example: \Windows\pword.exe

Ok,that's perfect.Unfortunatelly, that is not enough information on the developer's site..There could be very little thing, like not putting a "p" (pause) after a command and the whole script is not working anymore.Where should I find the correct syntax for that script thing??

you can either use ScreenOff script file already installed to Start Menu\Programs\sScripts or #scr command (no command line parameters needed).

i'm afraid it's not possible. currently no option is implemented to check how long the device is not used. nevertheless, you can turn the screen on or off for example when a specific program is executed.

Well why you even need SKSchema to do this? The very own WM5/6 OS will do exactly that and you just need to set it in the screen section of the service menu, where it also controls the brightness of the screen. On top of it, use phone alarm and you can preset up to 7 profiles with different timeout value and more if you need more flexibility. Do a search and phone alarm is also listed here.

thanks jeffH70, but as far as i can realize from Florin's question, he's looking for turning off the screen and not activating the standby mode.

if i've understood well what you want, here is the script you need to turn the screen off when the recorder program is starting.

• Create a new watch script by navigating to Tools\Watch
• In the Watch for field choose Windows
• Make sure the recorder program is running (not recording). Now in the Window Title field, choose either the window title or the process name of the recorder.
• Type :SKSCHM in the To execute If the Window is Opened field
• And set the Parameters to #r(#scr) #p() #onlyrun
• Type the same command in the To Execute If the Window is Closed but this time set the Parameters to #r(#scn) #p() #onlyrun to turn the screen on after closing the recorder.

now navigate to Tools\Settings and turn the watch mode on.

please note that it depends to the program you're using and also you need to assign a hardware button to execute and close the program or else the script won't be work perfectly.

anyway, you may find some recording programs with this ability though. for example, look at these audio recorders:
ProTone Voice Recorder v2.07: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=19235
Resco Audio Recorder 4: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=20802

Is there somewhere I can find more info on the scripts for SKSchema? I know there is a tutorial but its not as detailed as a beginner would hope for.

I couldn't agree more with you...
But there isn't any detailed info for a begginer with script language.. this is the "only protection" left for the developer fighting with our "cracking forum" :(
