You need to do the following to correctly register the application.
1- Check what "Name" you have in the device owner information, if it is blank, you need to fill in something
2- Use the same "Name" in the keygen application
3- Register using the generated key.

I had the same issue with other applications, they check the owner information page to get a seed for the registration code.
