Uboy, install 2.03, go to the serial entry form, delete the serial, confirm, install 2.05, it's now in the demo mode, and shouldn't close anymore.

And, to the g-alarm dev, that hopefully reads this, i've read your post at the donations page. I can understand the frustration, but, being free is one of the points that made g-alarm so popular. For me it was like "why bother looking at those other programs, paying, or searching for cracks ? there is g-alarm, it's pretty good, and it's free !". I am not blaming you, but i do consider 5 Euro price to be way too high for a alarm clock program, while you can buy a 'real' alarm clock for the same price. In my case, i'll probably use it in demo mode for a while, i may use a crack if a proper crack is released, but i will always be on a lookout for a similar app that is completely free. I would probably buy it for $2..3 though, it the payment process was easy and safe enough (for example, using PayPal sounds good enough).

BTW, on my device the alarm keeps playing after clicking snooze, despite the mentioned fix !!!

I will agree with you. I also want to say that in my device HTC HD with original ROM the 2.03 version works without any problems and as far as i remember the previous version (1,5?) also worked fine.
So until a proper keygen comes out i will stay at 2.03. :)

uninstall g alarm
delete all reg keys at HKCU\Software\ageye\G-Alarm
soft reset
install g alarm v2.0.4(v2.0.5)

for those having trouble: try the above fix.

I had 2.0.3 installed with a serial, after I installed v2.0.4, G-alarm would not run and neither would my other programs they would stop after a random period of time had passed or my phone would sit there like it was opening a program and not work.

I am now running v2.0.5 with no problems(v2.0.4 also worked after deleting the reg folder)

Just follow the above procedure if you are upgrading from an older version of G-Alarm and it will work.

Did you use one of the above keygens to make a serial and register the program with that? Because if you didn't the program is in trial mode and it will expire.
Anyway the procedure you described didn't work for me.

Nor me either....
Until then I'll continue using v2.0.3 which strangly does work for me.

Makes me think there's some code in there which until ageye sort out the official release payment details (how to pay for the registered version), you can't input a serial code at the moment.
Although I could be wrong.......

Nope that doesn't work either. Oh well I guess I will stick with v2.0.3. To bad, well someone may come up with a fix, I hope. :(

I used to use g-alarm until they've decided to start charging for it, so now im using klaxon which has the same features, works just as well and best of all its free!

Yea, thanks, already found it. I have to say, feature-wise g-alarm is better. There is no descent play list, there is no quick alarm, there is no option to slowly increase the volume, managing alarms is less convenient, etc etc. But, Klaxon is open source, this may mean it will get more features over time without becoming non-free. I'll give it some longer run.

EDIT: one more option i miss in Klaxon, next alarm display on S2U2 :-(
