Note if you install another build higher than this the crack wont work. Also this is for english only , wont work on any other language either

the rar file on here contains a cab file , if the person downloading it cant unpack a rar file on a ppc then why even bother downloading?

i am sorry scousemartin but that was rather rude of you to say that "the rar file on here contains a cab file , if the person downloading it cant unpack a rar file on a ppc then why even bother downloading?" if somebody asked me how to unrar it i would definately advise and also give the person a download link so as to download it from rarlab.

i think it is not good cracked cab, First it is a 6 mb file, the original cab is 4.5 mb then as soon as we go for installation - first, at the end of the the install it says ` could not install one file at selected destination folder' or something like that. but it is is installed, then there , there is one PI tools.dll , sitting in program files `webis-`pocket informant' folder. and one sitting in windows directory as well. .I think that is the the reason for extra 1.5 mb , talking 1.5 more precious memory ( for those still on 64/128 or 128/128 devices). there are two options either one removes the PItools.dll from program files ( shouldn't make a difference, haven't tried though, went for first post install instead ) or install from the first post replacing the .dll file

Hum... the cracked cab works for me. I tried myself to fix the original CAB with the .dll file, but that didn't work. I suppose the way it was done in Broad's file is the right way and the "could not install file" message is some setup check at install. It doesn't harm the working of the program in any way once it is installed. Maybe this crack won't compete for a "beauty" award, but I sure don't agree with your "it is no good cracked cab".

scousemartin, there's truth in what user sunjoyk writes. First of all: nothing shows there's a CAB file inside your download link. Nothing worse than suffering the download/unrar process to find out you're stuck with a desktop installation file on your mobile. Beside that, please keep in mind that we're not all so experienced and mobile addict as you and some users might not be used working with packed files or the way to unpack them.

Now. I am the one that edited your post to add a CAB-file link. Guilty! Actually, it's "us" - G & a - but I speak for my partner. Please understand we can't ask to every poster if he agrees to have his post edited with a CAB-file link. Must be over 6.000 now, imagine the job. You've been around in the mobile scene long enough to recognize the benefits to have a CAB file installation for WM programs. Beside making installation more comfortable, we also do everything we can to double check working and keep the CAB file links alive. Also, we do our best to not harm the release posts in any way, by adding our CAB links discretely on the bottom of the post. What else can we do? We have a license to do anything on this site that makes your stay more enjoyable and profitable... and that's one of the ways we do so...

TRIED to install on Touch Pro. USELESS. Keeps asking for soft reset no matter what. Went back to previous version which works fine. This cab is a WASTE of TIME.

um, once you soft reset it's installed and working? at least for me on a touch pro 2 it is.

I have experienced the same problem with the cab (no need of serial)

I have tried with the other one and after replace the PItools.dll everything goes well!!!

I wonder why everyone is still stuck on this thread and build, and keeping this thread up, Pocket informant 9.01 build 2398 is out, It is out there cracked by Dasai and been posted on this forum and has smaller footprint and doesn't have two-two PITools.dll.
