The patched version removes the Google Play license check, so it won't bother you when you fire up the game. However, some online features may or may not work as the game isn't registered to your account. The Retail version is a straight download from Google Play that may or may not require you to manually patch it with Lucky Patcher yourself. As this game has a license check, I would go for the patched version to avoid any hassles.
