Seems related to your aptoide app store &/or Xposed.
Try removing the latter.
Works fine on my Xiaomi device.

Crash on my device also (5.0.1 TW \ Exposed)

Okay, I got it working.
The problem wasn't xposed, it was Aptoide.
I freezed it, and the game is working^^
I tried using MinMinHide to hide Aptoide from Kittens, but it's not working.
But freezing/deleting Aptoide works (at least for me)

Yes it was Aptoide. Fantastic discover thanks. The minute I unnistalled it worked. Then I installed Aptoide Lite and it's still working.
