How do you get this game to work? I can`t get past the "log in to Google play games" section

Would be nice if it had instructions for root users at least, I still can`t get it to log into the modified apk.

I`ve rechecked this every day since this has been released, could you private message me with instructions? I`ve installed lucky patcher, tried every single patch/license verification/patch to Android mod I can think of with lucky patcher. Is there a step I`m missing? A VPN? Thank you.
