Has anyone tried this version yet? User festusdog mention a rather poor gaming experience with a previous released version of the game here; https://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=451&t=2366567

What's the difference between paid and unlocked?

I tried 1.2 the other day, briefly, and it has improved. One new bug, cards shaking, i see is supposedly fixed with this 1.2.1, which i plan to try tonight.

I cant figure what the unlocked mod does. In fact, that is often the case with many games here. The retail versions often work same for me as the unlocked versions. So i really dont know. I wish Symos could add a sentence or two to describe the unlocked versions, and whether you actually need to be rooted or not for them to add value.

Anyway, in this app, I cant see anything that needed unlocked.

Also, i would add that the initial release would not run at all on one of my tablets, and crashed [frequently] on the other. Much more stable now.

testing 1.2.1, and it seems to be a good release.

1. the mod unlocks the Leaders expansion.

2. no crashes so far

3. no obvious bugs that i have run into, though i have not played Leaders expansion

4. the AI is pretty weak, needs more development. i am a fairly new player and find it easy to win most matches.

Yea it ran fine for me too. Couldn't get into the game but thanks anyway symos.

@festusdog: thanks for checking out this version of the game. I really appreciate it. It sounds promising that it's a more enjoyable experience now. I'll download it and give it a try. Love the physical game so hopefully this digital implementation will do, even if it's not perfect just yet.

I'm new to 7 Wonders. I like the game. I can see how it is a good tabletop game. But for a digital game, I think Age of Rivals is a better, more sophisticated, implementation of the main concepts of 7 Wonders. The AoR AI is much more challenging, too.
