Yes it works fine, the obb file has been unpacked and the splash image was changed - also this file was changed:
Assembly-CSharp.dll - this is the file that does the gold bar mod - The obb was then repacked to the exact same byte size as the original so that it passed a crc check.
I downloaded the original from the play store - then put this obb file into Android/obb/com.glu.contractkiller3/
When you run, you need to play the game for a couple of missions to unlock the top right hand red plus icon, after that is unlocked click on it - then select 'get more free', watch a video all the way through for 30 seconds, until the video finishes, then press the back button on your device. After a few seconds a box pops up saying you have got 1000000 gold.
Then the gold at the top right goes up by 1000000.
