Frequent radio transmissions through the player's communications device also add to the atmosphere, by broadcasting certain sounds and messages from non-player characters meant to unsettle the player. Early in the game, during and directly after the event that plunges the base into chaos, the player often hears the sounds of fighting, screaming and dying through their radio transmitter. The ambient sound is extended to the base itself through such things as hissing pipes, footsteps, and occasional jarringly loud noises from machinery or other sources. Often ambient sounds can be heard that resemble deep breathing, unexplained voices and demonic taunting from the game's antagonists.

arrrgggghhhh my external is labeled _extrenalsd and this wants external_sd. Is there anyway to make a link from external_sd to point to _extrenalsd ?

It works, but do not waste time on searching for (modified) base files. Just use the (English) Base file of your old PC Doom 3 (old game from 2004). If you don't have Doom 3 on pc anymore, just download and install it on your PC just to get hold of the needed files.

Btw. on my old single-core smartphone, i only got to the title screen, but on my friends Sony experia z it works. Graphics lack detail and reflections though.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING I FORGOT: PC-version of Doom 3 (basefile, etc), needs to be at least updated to Patch 1.3.1

It doesn't work because of my phone. It says "has closed" not just returning to launcher or something. It's the app itself not playing nice with my HTC Evo 4G LTE.

Nothing to do with the base files unfortunately.
