Working great on S4, installed apk, transferred obb to SD card then copied to device storage obb folder.

as long as you do not uninstall the game, upgrade obb or apk file won't delete your save game.

It is an application resource package file used by apps & games that come from the google play store. It allows the apk (the application) to not have to be huge. Some can be well over a gb in size. They are stored in [root]/sdcard/android/obb/[application package named folder]/[obb file].
