The game is very demanding of RAM. Try to unload any unnecessary programs that are running.

When I installed apk and did not copy data folder and opened apk it requested wi-fi to download data.
But after I copied data to android/obb the screen is black and nothing happens.
I downloaded patched apk so I should be able to play it on device without root, correct?

Well all apps are closed, my tablet has 2gb of RAM so where is the problem.
Maybe tell me in which order to copy/install all. What should I do:
1. Install apk
2. Copy data to android/obb

Open zip archive and copy folder com.square_enix.FFIXww.android_googleplay in Android/obb
Reboot you device,run apk.

If u extracted the zip using our tab/phone then I think u got damaged zip as I did when download from those link... It shows completed but in fact it's incomplete zip... It will show blank screen on incomplete obb files
That's why I asked for mega mirror, or something with no speed limit or 1 hour ip limit which prone to get the zip files corrupted or incomplete download.
