ok here is the solution that i found for who gettin "force closed" and cant play the game :
1- check the "Compatibility Mode" from spare parts
2- restart phone
3- click the game and wait it for verify game
4- when veriyf is done , go to spare parts and uncheck "Compatibility Mode" again and restart phone again.
5- Now open wi-fi and click the game. it should work.
After that u can play without opening wi-fi

No multiplayer in menus here also, Htc desire.

DOH, this gave me some hope, but unfortunately it didn't work for my Xoom, though it gets a "can not play video" error then force closes. All the videos in the data dir play fine for me on stock player though. *shrug*

For those asking the multiplayer menu is accessible after you select your character and go to start game. Instead of selecting Single Player choose Multiplayer right below it.

FCs after 50% verification on Nexus 1. After I finished downloading, and ran games, it just FCed after intro..and any subsequent attempts to uninstall and reinstall did nothing.. still doesnt work. I'm assuming that once you mess up the first time or it FCs the first time, you're gonna have to delete everything and install a new apk and redownload..

Edit: btw where do you get the spare parts section from? There's no such thing on my device..

works perfectly on my N1... installed the APK from the first post, it downloaded the game files from the gameloft server (took a crap long time though..) but after that it works flawlessly. The game lags a tiny bit between cutscenes but that's def something I can live with.. the same lag occurs on newer games such as Asphalt 6 as well..

Nice. I use the GBX version just to try it instead om CM7. maybe ill reinstall CM7

its wierd since compatibility mode was checked to begin with. Also i use these cache files "Cache HTC Desire or Desire Z + Other Snapdragon Processor"

Edit.: just did a clean install of the CM7 and dungeon hunter 2. Made sure the combatibility was checked and boom force shutdown at aroun 75%. No idea whats wrong.
Think im gonna buy the game, hoping that works
