Well I am stuck at point 3.
I put SD files into Android/obb, installed the game and started it with wifi for the first time but it says that it needs some data to download and when I hit "YES", I get "Connection lost" :/ what should I do?

(Download failed because the resources could not be found)

Not working on Xperia S. "Connection lost. Try again?" loops over and over again. First tried with WiFi, then uninstalled and tried over 3g, same thing...
Edit: Actually, after renaming obb file from inside the folder from main.101 to main.102 and restarting it is running OK. Will see if any more issues pop up! Thanks.

You have the SD Data in the wrong folder, make a folder called obb in the Android folder then copy the folder called "com.square_enix.android_googleplay.FFIII_GP" into it and try again. I think you might have taken the contents of com.square_enix.android_googleplay.FFIII_GP and pasted to obb and not the folder itself.

I got mine to work by installing the APK first then running the game, I got the download error, then I pasted the folder in the obb folder and ran again, worked perfectly. Also tried the renaming 101 to 102 on gf's phone and that worked too.
I'm using Xperia PLAY but no gamepad support, runs perfectly though.
GF is on Xperia ARC again works perfectly so far.

Same thing here. cannot save, only quick save. nexus 7
I tried installing both ways(renaming, starting FF first then adding folder) and still no option to save.
EDIT:
Oops! You can save the game only from the world map. Quick save works from anywhere, but if you die it removes your quick save.

Changed the file name to 102 and installed perfectly.
However, i hit the settings button (wrench) and it asked me to download save info.
After that, it got stuck at the download error page.
I will try reinstalling it again later.
So the settings is completely inaccessible?
