I would open the the app info and clear the data, then try copying the files over again. I had problems with it trying to download, but then I followed maxee's steps and it worked for me.

Your problem is that at this point you've probably used TB to restore the data, which worked for some people but on some devices (like my Toshiba Thrive) caused the app to crash and auto-quit back to where you launched it from. The way to fix it is to use TB to uninstall and clear all data from the game, then clear all data from the Play Store. Next, restart your device and reinstall the app using the method maxee posted (or just redownloading it from the Play Store since you already paid for it).

Thank you for the files. Very much appreciated!
With v1.0.1 the dl.bin isn't needed anymore, as it will be generated automatically by the game on the first run. A data connection is not needed.
So the installation steps are even easier now:

1. Install patched Google Play Store v3.10.10 by ChelpuS & SaNXeVC or use Google Play Store v3.10.10+Installer v1.0.5 by ChelpuS (probably easier for most people)
2. Install FINAL FANTASY DIMENSIONS v1.0.1 APK
3. Copy main.101.com.square_enix.android_googleplay.ffl_gp.obb to /sdcard/Android/obb/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.ffl_gp
4. Play!

I looked around a bit, but I couldn't find any reports about compatibility issues with your device, the Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Can your run any other games, i.e. FINAL FANTASY III?

And yes, also try to clean the game from your device, as suggested by UndeadSquirrel and Rewdboy05.
Look for the folder com.square_enix.android_googleplay.ffl_gp in /data/data, /sdcard/Android/data AND /sdcard/Android/obb.
Also I didn't find the dl.bin in your TB data so I guess your game instlalation couldn't connect properly or verify its license with the Google Play Store in the first place, so it really seems that it's just a bad installation caused by some leftovers from the TB data in the first post.

As a last resort you could try another ROM.

Let us know how it goes!

But I think the previous data could be messing it all up for him.

Still giving me the connection problem, I connect to Wifi, and then it crashes. I did not touch anything with TB, or copy any data folder to sd, only obb. But a folder is created in data/data that goes like com.square.... /lib and /shared_prfs
Have a xperia x8

Thank you very much Maxee, and everyone else, you all are very helpful people. My Current Situation right now is trying to fully clean the Game from my phone. I ended up searching in my root explorer for everything with the name com.square_enix.android_googleplay.ffl_gp and I deleted all of the files with that. I also cleared the data from my google play store and wiped the data from ff dimensions before I deleted all the files.

Right now I'm going to try and install using your latest instructions, and I will get back to you after. Tyvm.

Still facing the same problem of not being able to Open it..
First time I tried to install dimensions I used these instructions:
1) Maybe you need lucky patcher to remove verification or install Google Play by Chelpus
2)Copy files in TitaniumBackup Zip to 'sdcard/Titaniumbackup' folder and 'Restore' > 'Data + App'
3)Copy data folder to 'sdcard/Android/Obb'
4)Launch the game

And I used the lucky patcher way first, and it did not work. Would that be a cause of why my game isn't opening?
If it is what can I do about it, and are there any specific instructions on how to fully clean a game from your phone?
thanks guys.

Jeez, honestly sounds like you're cursed. Try the 1.0.1 files.

lol, I tried the 1.0.1 files as well, no luck with that too :(
On a bright side I got final fantasy 3 to work on my device, I know that my device can run these games now.
I just need to find a way to fully remove the game from my device than reinstall it properly...

Try clearing the game data, uninstalling, clearing Play Store data, then wiping dalvik and cache in recovery.

When you used LP then it probably created the file /data/app/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.ffl_gp-1.odex.
Such a file could be the culprit, although it would prevent a new install in the first place as it is not automatically removed while uninstall. You either have to remove it by yourself or start LP once after uninstall and LP would remove this unused file. Because of that file many people had problems reinstalling PowerAmp...
But as you already searched for com.square_enix.android_googleplay.ffl_gp I guess it isn't there anymore.

Is there any other untouched app using Android LVL that is indeed running on your phone with the patched Google Play Store you got installed right now? Please check that.

Just to make sure that it isn't the phone, do a backup with your recovery, wipe system and data and try with a fresh ROM install.

As I said, a data connection - that also includes WiFi - is not required at all.
Did you use Lucky Patcher?
Does FINAL FANTASY III run on your device?
