Does anybody know where the actual save files are located? I had this on my phone before I upgraded my os, and am looking to recopy my save over but can't find it. I completely backed up my old phone, just no clue where to find the actual saves.

i cant seem to get this to work for me. i installed cracked market, then apk, put data to right spot on sd, then ran. said that it needed to d/l data to run so i d/l it. says complete with only one button that says yes. pressed that then app closed. re-opened app and says to d/l again. choose to d/l again and it just keeps saying error. anyone know how to fix?

update: my mistake, i miss read instructions. i moved the file not the folder. lol  so be sure to move the folder WITH file inside to the obb folder you make on sd card :P

The Mirrorstack links were down for a while, I think the site was offline or something, but they're working again.

It actually completed the download? Wow. It normally just says "Downloading" but stays at 0% "looking for assets." That means the obb is not in the right place. But sounds like you figured it out.

I've been trying to get this working from many other sources ... hopefully I can figure this out as it seems to be working for the majority of people here.

Directory Bind.

I'm having the same problem as others here. Just crashes on launch. I haven't installed the cracked Play Store because I bought the game so it shouldn't fail the license check. Square Enix support told me that this is because my phone's rooted, but obviously your devices are also rooted so I don't know.

EDIT: I rebooted, loaded it immediately after boot, and it worked. Go figure.

I think I'm at a loss here, I try the instructions above and something evades me.

For all that matters I use a lenovo ideapad.

1.- It says install and use Google Play. How do I use Google Play?
2.- It says install the FF 1.02 apk, does it bring on some new files I gotta use?
3.- It says I gotta copy to sdcard/android/obb so do I do that from computer through USB? Do I do it through the tablet itself? If so how? Also that obb folder I don't have it naturally, must I create it?

That's all. Thanks in advance.

1. That refers to the modded Google Play Store app. You need the modded version which bypasses LVL protection in Android applications. It's included with the zip file, though that one is outdated. New version can be found here: viewtopic.php?p=1181021#p1181021
2. Nope, just update or install the apk as normal. Don't launch the game just yet, though. Copy the obb over first.
3. Yes, through USB if possible. The Android folder should be there in the root of your SD card already, create the obb folder if it doesn't exist, and the com.square_enix.android_googleplay.ffl_gp folder (with the obb file within) goes in there.

Solved, explanation below for others with problem
Followed the instructions exactly and after launching the app it comes up with "Downloading" dialogue, then "Download complete" then closes the app. Launching the app again brings up the same Downloading screen but "an error has occurred" shows after. Obb file and folder are in the correct place. Installing 1.02 fresh with no previous versions. Any help?

Solution: Somehow I had two obb folders on the device, both with different subfolders and contents. Using a filemanager I renamed the visible obb folder, refreshed, and another obb folder appeared with different contents then the first. Moving the folder into the new obb folder worked.

Weird. That happened to me with the old version but deleting the incorrect one fixed it.

I don't know. Never had that problem before. Maybe clear dalvik cache and odex files? Or back up your data, clear app data, and see if you can save now. You might have to uninstall, clear all associated data, odex, cache, etc and reinstall if nothing else works.
