Install note:

2. Install LuckyPatcher.1.0.7.by.ChelpuS.apk
3. Put com.popcap.pvz_row.txt into /sdcard/LuckyPatcher/

can someone explain the difference with the version 1.0 that i have that runs perfectly without any problems and the newer versions? i see 'game improvements' and 'game update available' in the change log but are there really and changes?

I just installed it and see no difference so far. I think they may have fixed the roof levels where the zombies are off the grid but I haven't gotten there yet and I can't restore a backup made in Titanium (only gives the options to restore the app or restore app + data -- not just data) to check. Also there were freezes and forecloses on certain devices before this update that may have been fixed (though I never had a problem).

Update

I beat the game last night and the zombies on the roof levels are fixed. They no longer walk into the next lane or off the roof. Other than that, I have seen no other changes and have no problems running it on my Motorola Triumph.

Non root version doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. At least this version gets passed update check and downloads the data. Just sits on "Plants vs Zombies" on a black screen and doesn't do anything after that.

1.0 works fine for me.

mmm i must have been lucky then in my version 1 copy, never had any problems with the roof levels (been through twice), ill just keep my copy un updated then until some real changes.

There has to be a way to launch this without wifi/data. Does anyone here know how to get rid of the update checks that this app keeps trying to do.

If you are rooted you can get Permissions Denied from the market and deny the app from accessing the internet. Otherwise airplane mode should work but is annoying.

Not working - xoom team eos 1.0- force close in landscape, stuck at intro screen/ contact server in portrait. Instructions followed to the letter.

Any SD Data for this game? I got the custom patch to apply, but it is wanting me to download 50MB of additional Data.

From reading the comments i gather that to play this we need to have a WI-Fi connection right?

wifi/data just use 1.10 it works perfectly anyways without wifi/data
