Thechig - your youtube link worked for me - the links provided on that page work - OP's links work for download - but the files wont download data (2nd file) - so I cant give credit to OP.

I already tried the apps included in the topic, I tried those from youtube video suggested by Thechig and I even tried those from redd.it/1g7sux who seems to be developer of that hack. None of them worked for me. Each time I was able to get all the updates for the first one and run it, but when I got to the second I either was stuck on getting the updates or the app was shut down just after its start.

i had that problem once - had to uninstall and re-install. the links on youtube worked for me - be sure to download both links they're both different from OP's links.

and yes, they did work for me - i donated 1000wrz$

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling few times already step by step from the youtube instruction. And yes, I downloaded apk from both links Nothing seems to help. The first one goes smoothly, installs, updates, runs my game while the second one installs, gets updates and crashes. Each time...

BTW Do you also get the custom welcome screen after the second apk install?

yup - custom one - with homer standing under the squidport arch with beer cap on etc.

On my ICS it did not work but when I tried to do it on my friend's JB (same smartphone) it worked like a charm

2nd youtube links worked but when I tried to restore 4.24 data from TB, the download failed when I started the app up again

Install Springfield-Crack-4.3.0-v1
Open game and let it update fully
Make sure it is working then exit
Install Springfield-Crack-4.3.0-v2
It should have a minor update
Play the game

The guy working on this hack updates his version almost immediately after EA updates. His work can be found at http://redd.it/1g7sux . I just checked the very newest one and it works.
