You will need to clear at least 200 mb of memory to install. And if you do not have root and titanium backup there is no way to move apk to sdcard. If you are rooted, backup and uninstall stuff etc. If you are not rooted you may be SOL, sorry. Unless you need this more that 112 mb of other stuff, that is.

Awesome game, I LOVE IT !!!

Problem is, that the apk is HUGE and the developers didn't think to have it installed in the sdcard.
100Mb are too much for the internal memory even for the most advanced phones.
They should at least break the game into a small apk and a data folder.

Is there a way to force install it to the sdcard?
The internal memory of my phone isn't big enough to hold both Star Command and the rest of my games.

Are there any similar games to Star Command?

I love strategy games that involve starship build/management, planet exploration and/or building colonies and fleets too.
The ones I found until now require internet connection to play.
I badly need a space strategy game that works offline!!!

Apart from this one of course... :P

Try this...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd.pro

Apps that are installed to the memory can be moved to the sdcard...
with some exceptions of course...

I tried it already and it seems to be working.

Star Command is one the worst and most unfinished wannabe-Xcom-games. [snip]

This game could have been much more but sadly as it is now, it's good just for one walktrough, it gets repetitive really fast and there's not much to do really except micromanage your crew when an enemy is boarding your ship. Still a very stable release, beat it without crashing once, great job.
