Symos or anybody else - thanks for the post!

Any chance however of the same thing but without the unlimited moves mod (i.e just lives)? It's the lives part that is annoying on the original (as you have to wait for countdown to replenish lives or purchase/facebook spam your mates to get more). Making 'unlimited moves' in the same mod though takes any challenge from the game - there is just no point to it when you have unlimited moves to clear a board and it therefore just gets boring. Hope this makes sense?

Big big thanks!

Your point make a lot of sense except for one thing, the boards are not win-able from the turns given. It is I am sure intentional as a f2p game and all. I believe there was a life only mod available quite a while ago but it did not seem to make sense either. It's kind of like getting free coins to a slot machine would still not be very fun if the machine still never gave wins.

But do try a lives only mod symos and lets give it another go. I may be wrong in my recollection. And I hope that explanation made sense nim, I personally play this mod every once in a while just to play the levels.

Yes - it seems (quite reasonably on the part of the developer i guess), that plenty of the boards (seemingly randomly generated) are not winable. This is used as leverage, so you get through a few levels and then hit one that takes all your generated lives. At this point the dev hopes to sweat you down so you'll pay for lives rather than wait for the clock to tick down and generate more. Come back another day and it throws up a board you can complete and continue again. This seems the regular pattern built into the game's algorithms. If the lives were infinite but the moves were standard for the game, it would make for a great game experience - as that's the only irritation in an otherwise solid puzzle game. As stated above - unlimited moves bundled into the mix just takes away any purpose from the game though - bit like playing hangman with unlimited guesses: pointless.

Anybody who stumbles across this - v.2.5 (and not currently later) posted by symos has the mod i requested - that's the one to go for without the unlimited moves that makes the experience a bit pointless.
