First thing I would ask you is what file explorer are you using, not all have root file access. For example you need to turn the feature on using ES Explorer.

However regarding TB files, I have to admit, I never use it.

yea sorry i dont have TB file maker, all i can suggest is that you're looking in the wrong place for the directory.

The first time i tried this, i could find /shared_prefs, but there was no .xml file because I didn't beat the tutorial yet.

you should try to uninstall the game, then reinstall. if that doesnt work, then just go search around your phone for the file, it might somewhere else like with Damien White

Guys I can't get the unlimited turns to work.
I have finished the tutorial and I can find the .xml file.
I've added the line before </map> but it keeps reverting back every time.
I have force stopped Triple town but it keeps reverting back. I have searched my phone but the only place the .xml file is in is in /data/data and not somewhere else.
Please help

I got it to work.
I deinstalled the game and then reinstalled it.
Finished the tutorial
Force stopped the game
Editted the .xml file
And bingo!

This fix is absolutely not working for me.. I tried it for about 4 times and got the same result alwyas; the game acted like i just deleted it's data using Titanium Backup.
Could someone please post step by step guide? Or the TB files, i think it's not that big deal to make them..

It worked for me but I had to delete the BAK file after saving the changes to the XML file. It didnt work the first time I made the change to the XML file but the 2nd time, it did work after deleing the BAK file that root explorer creates.

Not sure if that helps but, again, I did have to repeat these steps a couple of times.

tried this a dozen times but never thought to delete the BAK file..
works perfectly now.

you can change the number of coins by changing the value of the name="triggerfish" line.

I can't the value on triggerfish but it doesn't change my gold. It reverts it back to what it originally was.

I finallt got it to workk after searching for com.spyrox and discovered the .bak files, delete it, and don't forget to check to mount the system file as writable in es explorer options. finally got unlimited turns and those 99999 gold )

I have tried the tutorial for unlimited turns but it just reverts the game to the tutorial at the start of the game. Someone upload TB restore file to it please...

There's this tool "Triple Cheat" that would do the trick. But I dunno whether it works in later version or not

edit: ah yes, like sabbys said, this works with gamecih, though I had to close my internet connection while modifying for the cheat to stay. then it's okay to turn it back on.
