Discovered it works too with GP obb file if properly renamed both dir name and obb filename

Well,

1) Install the free version from GP
2) move the dir with the obb file inside that GP has installed, located in Android/obb one dir up....
3) Rename the dir to: com.bigfishgames.google.mcfr2rgoogfull
4) Rename the file. obb inside to: main.7.com.bigfishgames.google.mcfr2rgoogfull.obb
5) Uninstall the free v.
6) Install the apk from this release but don't start it now!
7) Move back the dir com.bigfishgames.google.mcfr2rgoogfull to Android/obb
8 ) Start the Game, will receive the writing "Installing" at screen
9) Enjoy

The SD data had no extension, I changed it to obb, unpacked with rar (there was a dir and obb in it), then put to:
Android\obb\com.bigfishgames.google.mcfr2rgoogfull

Installed the apk.

It launches fine and I start the adventure... so yeah, everything is fine on my end on both of my phones:

-HTC Sensation z710t, China Mobile model with different GPU, not the Qualcomm but ST-Ericsson's dual-core NovaThor chipset.
Unrooted, ICS 4.03, ROM Ver 3.22.1403.1 (Tue Sep 25 1:04:29 CST 2012)

Please, check your free resources...
Sometimes, with low free resources, this game runs in a strange and unpredictable mode. ..
I've noticed that the clue objects list, usually placed in the lower part of the screen, is placed in the middle upper left part of the screen, stretched and with the text writings overlapped when I run in low resources....

damn this is hard!! maybe i'm stupid but this game has puzzles that are hard but not only that, they are not explained well...

This is a PC classic so there are plenty of walkthoughs on the net. And yes it is a bit tough but that makes it last longer/more enoyable. But do check GameFAQs, Gamezebo, or google "MCF Return to Ravenhearst walkthough" and you'll find lots of 'em.
