GTA3 Graphical Settings + Launcher v1.3
Requirements: Android 2.2+
Overview: Just a small quick and dirty app that let you change some of the GTA3 default settings.



Original settings are backed up to (GTA3 Folder)/files/GTA3/gta3.gtsettingslauncher.set. If the app completely fails or you want to use the original settings after uninstalling the app, just copy this file back to (...)/gta3.set.

Before starting, please check your gta3 directory if there is a file called "gta3.set".

Extract the gta3.set file from inside and copy it to your com.rockstar.gta3/files/gta3 folder. This will make the app start up

Available Settings:

Shadows: On/Off
Lighting: On/Off
Resolution: High/Low
Rendering Distance: 18 Steps
Blur: On/Off *


* Blur is not working for me. The setting is always disabled when starting the game. Maybe it is working on other devices (Tegra?).

Currently only tested on I9100 with GTA3 German. Please let me know if it is working or not.

added another external_sd path (now searching in "/mnt/sdcard/external_sd/Android/data/", "/mnt/sdcard/Android/data/", "/mnt/sdcard/external_sd/data/" for package)

changed namespace - please uninstall the old version manually. I used an example package found on the internet as skeleton and forgot to change it, sry

This is a great attempt at fixing all the crappy bugs in this game but with no luck for me...this fix doesn't do anything for my Droid Bionic. It STILL keeps showing the smoke/exhaust from cars as large dark squares on the screen (which unfortunately is keeping me from playing this game since I always do a lot of driving, so this is a real deal breaker for me).

But please keep working on a fix for this guys, since it looks like RockStar doesn't give a dam to get off their lazy buts and fix this game once and for all!!!!! I haven't seen many games released in the Android Market with as many bugs/problems as this one has, just look at the market reviews it's getting - it's ridiculous!!

Just delete the stations in the audio folder if you don't want or just shut off the radio no need for that to be added. This works great on my evo 3d even the blur button is active doesn't seem to change anything though
