I think the problem is with AVG...
yesterday i installed at my home's desktop and no problem (there i have Norton Anti-virus) and today on my laptop it gives that alert message and prevents me from running the crack.
I think AVG is too sensitive to some programs...
Pocket PC related PC software. Movie encoders, synchronization, development, etc.

Hye all,
I'm on holiday with an RTC line and not a DSL line. Sure I can't be connected all the time.
This patch was realized with dUP2 patcher. I think AVG is silly or the signature of this exefile was near a virus. But you can't be sure it isn't. If you want, use a VM machine to patch the proggy and copy this new one to your physical machine....
If the patch popups an error window message :
Launch in the directory of SOTI ?
If YES, are you admin ? YES/NO
If YES, are you sure ? really ?
If YES and Vista, have you launch it with "execute as admin"
Haven't you any ACL on the SOTI exefile which blocks its modification ? Use explorer to check ACLs...
If no solution, use FileMon from SysInternals and check for DENIED...
PS : YES, I see there's a 6.01 version but wait on I'll be back home to, maybe !-), correct the patch....

Steeldorr :Great app. But when I try to execute or move myPCP.exe I get the "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file...." message. I'm tearing my hair, I have all the right permissions, I can't work it out.
you must uninstall avg antivirus, just disable it won't do.

Software: SOTI Pocket Controller Pro v.6
Tested on: XDA Atom WM5
Tested: Works
Review: The 1.1 patch works perfectly for me (wm5). This is a great app!
This is my first time to use a program to remotely control my pocket pc through my desktop pc, and I must say that the Pocket Controller Pro did not disappoint me. This software is made by SOTI Inc, the same company that made MobiControl.
(Installation) The installation and set up of this software is painless and straightforward. Setup involves installing the main program in your desktop computer and a small software in your pocket pc. After installation, you’ll see a small icon in your pocket pc’s menu bar at the bottom, which (thank God) you can remove to conserve Today screen space. After the installation, all you have to do is launch the program and click on the green arrow button to connect to your device. The connection itself took less than 5 seconds on my computer.
(Features:) I’m a sucker for eyecandy. I absolutely loved the way the interface looked, the ribbon menu made everything look less cluttered and more functional. Not to mention that it goes very well with my Vista theme.
You have the option to use a skin (like my O2 XDA Atom skin on the right thumbnail) or disable it altogether to display only the window. If you’re using the skin, you also have the option to hide the window so it only shows the pocket pc without the window and menus. The skins are downloaded through the software itself and you can apply different skins regardless of your actual device.
What’s really remarkable about this software is that it does exactly what it should do. You can click on any button or part of your Pocket PC’s screen through the software and it replicates the action on your mobile device. I even tried to reply to SMS using the software and it’s really convenient because I can use my keyboard to type instead of scratching away using my stylus. I can even play games with it. The software has a host of useful tools that can help you manage your Pocket PC as well. The System button in the Home tab shows vital system information, the Tasks button shows active processes which you can terminate if you want (much like Windows task manager), the Registry button is a fully-functional registry editor that can help you with those tweaks you like to do on your device, there’s also a button that launches your Pocket PC’s command prompt, and a button that will soft-reset your device.
The capture options are also very interesting. You can take video captures of what you’re doing onscreen, with a host of options concerning video quality, frame rates, etc. This can be useful if you need to save demonstrations or tutorials for your Pocket PC. I tried recording a game of Orions: Legend of Wizards and the output size isn’t at all bad, considering the length of the video. You can also take screen captures easily in different formats and image quality. You can use the pen icon to make scribbles on the screen and pick the color of pen you want to use. You can also zoom in and out of the screen. There’s a bit of a delay or sluggishness in the display, but it’s nothing that I can’t overlook, it’s not that glaring a fault, really.
Pros: a very robust and stable software. The interface is very clean and streamlined.
Cons: it’s a tad slow, but not too slow as to make it annoying for me. It’s hard to find fault in this software.
Details: Soti Pocket Controller Pro v.6, free to try, $35.95 to buy
Conclusion:All in all, the Pocket Controller Pro works for me. A very useful desktop tool for your Pocket PC.
Final Rating: 9/10

Really good application. When I'm using 1.1 Patch (MyPCP) it doesn't work, here is the message : " Can not access the file. Maybe it's in use... Please close the file before patching. Try to access the file again now?"... Is there any service to stop ? Thx all.

Many Thanks LaDidi.
I read post #49. I just 'run as administrator' and now it's ok.
Really cool...
