Universal Extractor v1.5 and v1.6 beta (Freeware)
Requirements: Windows All
Overview: Universal Extractor is a program do to exactly what it says: extract files from any type of archive, whether it's a simple zip file, an installation program, or even a Windows Installer (.msi) package. This is still a work in progress (see details below), but so far it's proven quite useful and I feel others can also benefit from it.

Universal Extractor, like most of my Windows programs, is written in AutoIt, a powerful open source scripting language. Universal Extractor itself, however, is just a front-end that uses many other programs to do the dirty work.
It can also extract directly .cab file from .exe file without install .exe file on Windows PC

Correct, I added 'Freeware' to the title and added also v1.6 beta to the main post. 10 WRZ$ removed again from wjd's account.

Wow, an all mod - adm TOPIC. Nice. :D

Anyway, thank you WJD, nice piece of software. Thank you for pointing us to this. If you mean it could help us on CAB file extracting, I m afraid this software doesn't. If the CAB file is embedded in the installation file, you are right, the CAB will be extracted, exactly the same way as when the file should be unpacked with UNRAR after renaming it from .EXE to a .RAR file. But when the CAB file is created while installing the program through active sync - which is the case in 98 % of the installation files - this software isn't of any help...

Exept that it allowed me to talk to you, which is never to be underestimated.
