Sybase PocketBuilder™ is a smart-client application development tool for Windows CE platforms, including their more recent Windows Mobile enhancements. This release looks amazing. I'm wondering if it might be a replacement for Basic4PPC? The specs on their website suggest it is aimed at the business/phone/sms/ side of the PPC programming market. Does anyone use it already? Is is a general programming system like Basic4PPC?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong here. Downloaded/extracted both files, and installed the 2.5 version without any problems. Overwrote it with the contents of the 2.5.1 patch file, and all seemed well. But it crashes on the last step of creating a new project. Having never used it before, not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if there's something wrong with the files in the post.

Anyone had any luck getting it running that could share what exactly they did?

Have found one issue--SQLAnywhere that comes with this product doesn't seem to like my computer (possibly because I keep MySQL installed on mine). But managed to get it running without SQL functionality, and will report further.
