Mycnknow Eye on Thief v2.5.1 and v2.56 (Requested by XVI)
Requirements: Pocket PC Phone 2002/2003/2003SE/WM 5.0
Overview: Eye On Thief will automatically send alarm SMS with the new phone number after SIM card is changed. You also can control your mobile remotely by sms.




Features

* Auto Run: When Eye On Thief is enabled, after mobile starts up, it will beep to show that the phone is currently under protection. Eye On Thief will not stay in memory, after detection it will exit automatically. Alarm message will be sent out after the set time if problem is detected.
* User-defined Option: The time to send out the alarm message after cell phone starts up, the frequency of sending and the SMS list could be user-defined.
* Support multiple SIM cards: It makes the legal user possible to use several SIM cards in a same mobile phone.
* Send SIM Contact
* Password setting: It is used to set the administrator password.
* Remote Control by sms: You can control your mobile remotely by sms, such as shutdown, restart, query contact information..


First Run

* Run Eye On Thief normally if no signing failure appears.
* Set Auto Run option.
* Set the SMS list and exit.
* Restart mobile, a beep will be made to show that the Eye On Thief is running correctly.

Verify Remote Control

* Send the sms which contains only remote password to the mobile and the Inbox should not show this sms.

Tips

* If you forget to disable Auto Run option after changing the SIM card, run Eye On Thief will stop the sending process directly before alarm SMS is sent out.

NOTE: I know you people dont like reading instructions. This software as any other software that hides itself should be configured good on the first try so read the instructions and .nfo before you complain.

how should i burn it to the rom so that even after a hard reset the application is added to the start-up folder automatically ?

Seems to be a nice release. Three questions:
- shouldn't this topic belong rather to security, just like ultimate theft alert?

Have you read the nfo as suggested by the author?

Sometimes users, are not exactly sure how to view nfo's.
Just incase you are one of them, open with notepad.
I hope that helps. But if indeed the file is crapped, then you could test the app out and post here if it is free or not. that will help everyone out so much who may have your same q!
